The Summer Work Travel program provides foreign students with an opportunity to live and work in the United States during their summer vacation from college or university to experience and to be exposed to the people and way of life in the United States.
The Summer Work and Travel program
The Summer Work and Travel Program provides postsecondary students with the opportunity to experience the customs, cultures and daily life of another country. The focus of the program is to enhance the understanding of diverse cultures through daily interaction with people from across the globe, inside and out of business environments.
Jobs and Oppurtunities
Lifeguard
Warns swimmers of improper activities or danger and enforces pool regulations and water safety policies. Administers first aid in the event of injury, rescues swimmers in distress or danger of drowning, and administers CPR and/or artificial respiration, if necessary.
Hotel Attendant
A room attendant works as part of the housekeeping service team at a hotel. Their job duties involve cleaning and sanitizing rooms, hallways, stairways, and guest areas. They clean furniture, wash windows, vacuum carpet, sanitize bathrooms, change bed linens, and replace towels.
Restaurant Servers
A restaurant server takes orders, answers questions about the menu and food, sells the restaurant's food and drinks, takes payment, communicates orders with the kitchen staff, seats customers, and helps with customer service and cleaning. Also known as a waiter or waitress. Completely free trial, no card required.
